Time for another ‘adventure’ and I just can’t wait to get away, it’s been so stressful with work recently I need to just get away from it all and chill out, where better to do that then one of the busiest and coolest cities in the world, Tokyo!
My bags are all packed and i’m ready to go, decided to ditch the drag along hang luggage case in favor of a new backpack, I remember last time having so much trouble trying to drag two things on wheels, they kept flipping out of place and falling over. Not bringing a giant suitcase either, it’s more of a large travel bag but it’s done me fine in the past.
Despite my friends giving plenty of warning to pack early, I left it last minute, which made things a lot more stressful than they should have been. To make things worse, during packing, I managed to loose a bag with my Camera, Passport and Travel Money, which was found an hour later, then my laptop wouldn’t connect to the internet, so had to fix that, install photoshop and a few other programs which resulted in the laptop failing to boot, sorted that and a few hours later I was installing stuff all over again!
Didn’t manage to sleep till near 5am and had to be up at 7.30am to finish packing and then make my way to meet my travel partners, Cas and Penny (Cas’ friend from Europe, forget where, Denmark?)
I’m just doing a quick update before I head off to the airport, really excited about the trip now, just can’t wait to get on that plane! I’m hoping there are no futher problems between now and flight, could do without the stress but with the London Underground not fully working.
The flight is 13 hours long but i’ve come well prepared…
Cas and Penny were supposed to get this too but didn’t manage to sort it out in time, guess i’ll be playing alone until they pick a copy up in Tokyo.
But yeah, 13 hour flight which will be filled with games, sleep, movies and that horrible airplane food. It should be alright, I sleep through the most of it. The last two flights I went solo but this time I have company so it should be a lot more fun.
Right, off to the airport! I’ll update again when we’re settled into the hotel which i’m hoping has internet as advertised.
